Editing
Today is the last time editing the video, there is about 40 seconds left to do. This blank space is going to be filled with the new footage we filmed on monday. This will be with the new projections and costume for the two thirds point so a perspective audience wouldn't be bored.

Fifth Shoot
Today was our fifth and final shooting, it went very smoothly as we can now set up all the equipment and get ready in minimal time. The new projections looked really pretty and once edited into the video will work really well. Although I wasn't able to film any of the shoots as I'm in them, I was finding different gifs to project and suggesting shots that Paru and Emily could film.
These are pictures of my costume for the performance, I done my own make up and bought clothes my own clothes. I feel that this look worked really well for the different style of this performance.

Costume For Fifth Shooting
Editing
Since Emily has taken over the editing the process has happened much quicker. She decided to make a new version of the music video, this is because the original video we were editing had become messy and unorganised. This new video has come together really quickly, all that is left to edit is the end section of the video which we will be doing another shoot for.

Fifth Shooting
On monday we are planning to film for the last time. We are going to be shooting performance, we are doing this because we have realised that our performance shots are all very similar, and to add to the two thirds point we wanted a different type of shots. Which will look different to our other performance shots. These new ones will be more dark, which projections of the night sky and galaxies, opposed to beaches and seas.

Editing Update
Last night me and my group members Emily and Paru stayed behind to continue editing the music video as we need to have a final draft to show to our class. I find it quite overwhelming when I edit the video as we have a lot of footage to use, so Emily has become the main editor.

Fourth Shoot
Today was our last planned shoot, after this it will only be for possible reshoots. We filmed at my house again for the narrative scenes. The last time we filmed we didnt get all of our planned narrative shots, so this time we filmed those as well as re shooting some of the shots we did get. We decided to reshoot as last time we were losing sunlight and we rushed to get the shots which then didn't turn out as we would have liked.

Editing
We have uploaded and converted all our footage and have started to get it roughly into order on final cut pro X. However we still have one more shoot planned.
Third Shoot
This was our second time shooting performance shots and third in total. This time around it went much smoother than previously, I was completely comfortable with preforming and we had handled the projector before.
This time we used an upright fan to create wind and movement for my hair and the backdrop. Looking at the footage the effect created is really nice as there is more movement within the frames. We also used two camera shooting simultaneously today, this was really helpful as we got double the amount of shots at the same time.
Paru and Emily were controlling the two cameras while Zara was helping with the costume, fan and other miscellaneous things like the projector and backdrop. In between takes I was looking at the footage and suggesting ideas for the next take, as I am in the video its important I look at what we shoot at the time so I too can see how the shoot is going and how it looks on camera.

Second Shoot
Today was our second time shooting and our first time shooting as a whole group. We filmed at group member Paru's house. We filmed at Paru's house as her family has a white backdrop used for evenys. This was very helpful as it was difficult for us to find a suitable place for us to film in school (as we needed a projector) however our department let us borrow a portable projector.
So this shoot we used the canon 500D, Tripod, MacBook and a Sony portable Projector.
We started to film our performance shots but I was nervous too mime and perform the song, so it did take around 20 minutes to get comfortable with the filming. It also took us some time to get used to projector. We will need to shoot performance shots again as we didn't get enough variety of angles and shots today.

First Time Filming
Today was our first time filming, it was very successful as we got all the shots we set out to film. However will need another day of filming narrative scenes as one group member was missing we couldn't get scenes with the bridesmaids. Also due to the sun setting we had less time than we would of liked to shoot the outdoors scenes so they were cut short.

Shooting
This weekend group members Emily and Paru and myself will be filming the majority of the narrative scenes for our video. Zara will not be able to attend. We will be filming at my house for the wedding scenes.
The equipment we will be using is a canon 500D and a tripod, as we want the footage to have natural lighting and feel homemade.

Digipak Photos
These are my favourites of my set of photos I took with my group. These are the photos just as they were took, no editing such as cropping has yet been done. As I was the model, my group member Emily took the photos the way I wanted. Im very pleased with the photos, and I believe they fit very well with our tropical house genre.

Production Log
Today my group and I took some preliminary photographs for our digipak's and posters. We took the photos in school to make use of the resources, we used a white screen and a projector. We plugged the projector into a laptop to project images onto myself. We also were going to use a large light, however in the first pictures we found it made the projections less visible. So we just used the natural light and the colours in the projections.
It took a while to get set up as we were un familiar with the projection device, however after that the process went very well as we all have had experience with DSLR cameras. Being the model I was a bit nervous at the beginning, however my group members each had visions for their digipaks so that helped with the posing for the pictures.
For the shoot I fake tanned to get the tan our artist Kyla would have, being from Miami. I wore three different outfits, two white and one black. I wanted to wear white to connote the beach feel of the tropical house genre, for this I also had my hair in beachy waves and wore natural make up
I feel that the pictures were a great success for a first try, however we may need a reshoot to get photo of specific poses or projections.
